Hibiscus leaves, used in herbal teas, drinks and cosmetics, are a staple of traditional medicine for their relaxing and sedative properties. Regular consumption helps combat stress, anxiety, high blood pressure and insomnia. Hibiscus juice, when sprayed on the hair, tones the fiber and keeps it healthy.
Composition
Organic hibiscus leaves. Rich in vitamins C, B2, B3, calcium, iron, anthocyanins (delphinidin 3-sambubioside, cyanidin 3-sambubioside), polyphenols, proteins, lipids and pectin.
Country of origin: Côte d'Ivoire
Usage
infuse the plants to make herbal tea. For sweet bissap juice, boil hibiscus leaves for at least 15 minutes, add mint leaves, cool and strain. Then add sugar to taste.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place.
