Herbal teas juice
Description
Herbal teas Juice is a refreshing and tangy drink from West Africa, made from hibiscus flowers. Rich in antioxidants, it can be eaten fresh for a thirst-quenching pleasure.
Ingredients
- Hibiscus leaves from @ tcheris_market
- pineapple peel: strengthens the immune system, excellent detoxifier, improves digestion…
- fresh mint for its digestive and soothing properties;
- vanilla sugar and sugar to give flavor (do not overdo it )
Preparation
1. Bring a sufficient quantity of hibiscus leaves to the boil;
2. Add the well-washed pineapple peels;
3. Let it boil for around fifteen minutes then turn off the heat;
4. Add the fresh mint and let it infuse (you can drink it hot at this stage without sugar in order to benefit from all the properties of bissap on the body);
5. Leave to cool and sift;
6. Add vanilla sugar and sugar;
7. Serve chilled or with ice cubes
